Dr Matteo Lancioni is a Consultant Cardiologist at Welbeck Heart Health. He has been practicing in his speciality for over 3 years with a special interest in valve disease and cardiac imaging, in particular echocardiography including advanced echocardiography (stress echo and transoesophageal echo).
Dr Lancioni is an internationally-trained Cardiology specialist. After attending the University of Pisa, where he trained in cardiology, he came to London to sub-specialise in cardiac imaging, with fellowships at the Royal Free Hospital and Barts Heart Centre.
His areas of interest include: general cardiology; chest pain; breathlessness; echocardiography; stress echo; trans-oesophageal echo; valve heart disease; mitral valve disease; aortic valve disease.

It’s helpful if you can bring the results of any previous investigations with you, as well as a list of your current medications. Come with a comfortably full bladder so you can provide a urine sample if requested.
