Can You Develop Angina in Your 20s?
Although Angina is commonly seen in middle-aged to older male patients, anyone, regardless of age or sex, can get it. Angina is not a disease, but simply chest pain in its manner which could be a symptom of an underlying heart issue.

Can young people get angina?
A young person can develop angina in their 20s or 30s, but it is quite rare. Angina comes about due to a reduction of blood flow being able to get to muscles in the heart. Typically, such a reduction naturally occurs because of age.
Why would a younger person have angina?
Weaknesses in the heart area can play a part, but most young people who develop the condition do so due to family history.Strong indicators that a younger person may develop angina at some point would be if they had male relatives diagnosed when they were under 55, or female relatives when under 65. Again, while history is a good indicator, the chances remain very low for a younger person to have it.
