About Lesley Regan

Having graduated from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, London, in 1980 Lesley pursued her career at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, where she first became enthused by clinical and laboratory research, completing an MD on miscarriage. Her collaborative approach to women’s health has resulted in her receiving Honorary Fellowships of seven UK specialties and several international Colleges of O&G.

Professor Dame Regan was awarded a DBE for services to women’s health in the 2020 New Year’s Honours List.

Professor Dame Lesley Regan is Honorary Secretary of the International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) and the Immediate Past President (2016-2019) of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, only the second woman to ever hold this role and the first in sixty-four years. Yes. You can arrange an appointment for a family member, or someone you care for, just let us know when you get in touch. We’ll need their details and consent to complete the booking, unless you're their legal guardian or have power of attorney.

Your first consultation includes a detailed discussion of your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle factors, followed by a thorough examination. It’s helpful if you can bring the results of any previous investigations with you, as well as a list of your current medications. Come with a comfortably full bladder so you can provide a urine sample if requested.
