About Gordan Grahovac
Mr Gordan Grahovac is a highly skilled Consultant Neurosurgeon and Complex Spinal Surgeon experienced in the comprehensive management of all spinal conditions, including degenerative, traumatic, and malignant spinal disorders. He is Consultant Neurosurgeon at King’s College Hospital, where he is Spinal Lead. Since 2021, he has led the South East London and Kent Spinal Network.
An expert in minimally invasive spinal techniques, spinal robotic surgery, he treats back and leg pain, neck and arm pain, spinal fractures and spinal tumours. He is also a leading authority on spontaneous intracranial hypotension caused by cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leaks, working closely with neurologists and neuroradiologists to provide tailored treatments, including minimally invasive CSF leak repair.
Originally from Zagreb, Croatia, he completed his medical and neurosurgical training there, earning a PhD in Biological Sciences from the School of Medicine, Zagreb. He completed paediatric neurosurgical fellowship at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, USA, and a Complex Spine Fellowship at King’s College Hospital.
