About Chun Ng

Mr Chun Ng is a Consultant Gynaecologist who specialises in infertility, reproductive medicine and surgery, and postmenopausal health.

He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, and trained as a Specialist Registrar (SpR) in the North West London Deanery training programme.

Mr Ng went on to gain his postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology, specialising in reproductive medicine and surgery, and minimal access/benign endoscopic surgery.

Completion of his training programme led to the award of a UK Certificate of Specialist Training and inclusion on the Specialist Register with the General Medical Council.

During his postgraduate training, he obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and also holds a Diploma in Family Planning.

Previously, he was a Clinical Research Fellow at Imperial College London, where he conducted postgraduate clinical research in menopause.

Mr Ng has contributed numerous publications to peer-reviewed journals and chapters in textbooks on obstetrics and gynaecology. He has presented at various international and national meetings in the fields of gynaecology and reproductive medicine. He has also appeared in television news interviews with CNN and in web news with the BBC.

During his time at Imperial College, Mr Ng was actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education. He was a module organiser and tutor for the MSc and BSc Intercalated Year in Human Reproductive Biology courses at Imperial College London and a co-editor for the journal summary service Current Medical Literature.

In 2024, he was elevated to Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
