About Elika Kashef

Dr Elika Kashef (MBBS MRCS FRCR) graduated from Kings College, London 2001, and trained as a general surgeon for 3 years. She undertook her radiology training at HHNT Trusts (now Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust). Dr Kashef completed her interventional radiologist fellowship between 2008-2010 at St Mary’s Hospital, before becoming a consultant interventional radiologist and the lead for trauma radiology in 2011.

She is the Head of Interventional Radiology and Directorate Safety lead at Imperial College NHS Trust in London.

Her interests include Women’s health: Pelvic congestion, Pelvic ultrasound, Transvaginal (internal) Venous Duplex studies for pelvic congestion & pelvic pain, imaging for infertility and benign gynaecological conditions including hysterosalpingograms and HyCoSy. Her IR interests include Uterine Fibroid Embolization, Ovarian Vein Embolization, and Fallopian Tube recanalization.

Come with a comfortably full bladder so you can provide a urine sample if requested.
