International Patients

If you live overseas, you can book an appointment the same way as our UK-based patients. Simply contact the relevant centre by phone or email. You can find contact details on each of our type: entry-hyperlink id: 5SsRcp8MoG38vPrQZFSoGc. Some services also offer online booking. If you’d like to attend your appointment remotely, please let us know when booking, so our team can make the necessary arrangements.

You may need to have a referral to have tests or receive treatment at Welbeck – this can be confirmed by the centre when you contact us to book. If you’ve been referred by a GP or specialist, please email your letter to us before your appointment. If you're self-referring, you won’t usually need any documentation.

Some of our centres accept embassy or internationally insured patients, but not all insurers and embassies are eligible. Please contact your centre directly for guidance. We’ll need confirmation of funding from your embassy or insurer before your appointment can take place.

We aren’t able to offer remote consultations to patients outside the UK. All appointments must take place in person at Welbeck.

If you’re self-paying, you can pay for your appointment with cash, a cheque or by card in advance, or on arrival. You’ll receive clear pricing information before you book.

If you’re using private health insurance to pay for your care, you must contact them before booking to acquire a pre-authorisation number code. You’ll need to share this number with our bookings team in advance of your appointment so we can collect payment. This can be done over the phone, and also on your registration form.

If you're an embassy patient, please contact the relevant centre in advance to agree payment arrangements.
