Becoming a Patient
We aim to offer appointments as quickly as possible, and many services have same-day or next-day availability. Waiting times vary depending on the appointment type, specialty, and consultant availability, but our team will always offer the earliest suitable appointment.
Yes, but only for certain services. Some consultations, assessments, and treatments can be booked directly, while others require a GP or specialist referral. Please check the relevant service page for guidance, and contact the centre if you’re unsure.
If your GP or consultant provides you with a referral letter, you can contact us to arrange your appointment. If they send your referral directly to Welbeck, our team will get in touch to book you in and explain the next steps.
Yes. Having private care at Welbeck doesn’t affect your right to access NHS services at any time. Many patients move between private and NHS care depending on their needs, treatment plans, or insurance cover. Your GP or consultant can help decide the most appropriate pathway for you, and our centre teams can coordinate with your NHS providers to ensure your care remains seamless and well-supported.
